The AMHP HEPA uses a two-stage air treatment process:

Stage 1 -
Prefiltration to the highest quality, using an odor-absorbing, activated carbon media filter.

Stage 2 -
Ultra-high efficiency HEPA filtration removes a minimum of 99.97% of all airborne particles of 0.3 microns and larger.

AMHP-250-UPD

The AMHP-250-UPD is designed for residential and light commercial applications, removing construction, smoke, pet, cooking, and sewer/water odors while also preventing allergy, asthma, and respiratory suffering.

The AMHP-250 utilizes multiple methods of air treatment and sterilization in your home:

• HEPA particulate filtration - removes hair, lint, and larger particles
• UVC germicidal lamps - eliminates viruses, mold, and bacteria
• CinQuartz photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) - Reduces harmful airborne chemicals
• Carbon/ Potassium Permanganate final filter - Removes traces of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and light gases that are too small to be caught

The AMHP-250-UPD is installed on the return air duct. A portion of this return air passes through an opening on the rear or top of the unit, and then through a 5-stage filtration system.
